Can replacement car seat covers be used with side airbags?
Hi, I have a new car and it is fitted with side curtain airbags which are located in the seats. Is it still alright for me to protect the car seats with replacement car seat covers or will they interfere with the airbags should the need arise for them to be activated? Thanks for any advice.
normally when you buy the seat covers to fit that particular model and year of car the seat cover manufactures know to leave gaps for air bags.i drive a car with airbags and i also cover my front and rear seats with covers,because of the dogs and my messy god kids.So look around and you will find the right ones but don't buy just standard fit ones or else(god forbid) if you do have an accident,you will have problems.
